About our Non-Profit Fundraising Consulting
Previously, Mitchell was on the University of San Francisco’s front line fundraising team. While there, he helped to build a culture of philanthropy among USF's donor base and engage them to renew their gifts each year. As part of USF's $300 million comprehensive campaign, Mitchell engaged and re-engaged alumni, students, parents, faculty, and staff philanthropically with the University. He led the team in the exploration of new ideas and technology to help increase open rates, click through rates, and giving rates. This led the annual giving team to have a reputation as an early adopter and innovator.
Mitchell is mission focused, goal oriented, and results driven. He has a strong and proven track record of successfully soliciting and closing gifts, providing high levels of customer service, implementing innovative technologies, and launching marketing campaigns with high returns on investments. During his time at USF, he maintained a steady growth rate of the senior class gift, he had grown the culture of philanthropy on campus, and increased faculty and staff participation in giving from 17% to 52%. As part of his success, he won a CASE Award in “Best Practices in Fundraising Campaigns” for the immense success of the universitys’ faculty and staff giving campaign.
